Sectre

Sectre is an interactive iPhone application where teams battle eachother for control of real world territories.  Teams travel together to locations and, using their iPhone GPS, ‘attack’ territories.  The goal is to conquer as much land as possible and become the winner, until the game starts all over again.  In Sectre, territories are actually US Zip Codes and everyone plays on the same map.  The Sectre website charts which teams control the most territories and displays real time stats on a map.

We like to think of it as real-time real-world Risk.  Our hope is that it combines the entertainment of a strategy game with the social networking power of the internet.
